EPA Releases Shell Oil Arctic Drilling Air Permit Drafts for Public Comment (ContributorNetwork) 1 Jul 2011, 8:50 pm
ContributorNetwork - The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that it has released the air quality permit drafts that if approved will allow oil giant Shell Oil Company to begin oil drilling in Alaska's Arctic Outer Continental Shelf. Additionally, the EPA is seeking the public's comment on the revised air permits, especially over the environmental implications of letting Shell Oil drilling in this area of Alaska. |
